And it begins...

So, first blog post.  Actually, I'm pretty excited to do this, and hopefully it will encourage me to finish projects after starting them...  especially within a reasonable time limit...  I'm bad about that sometimes.  For instance, a it has been over a year since I started my first quilt and I have yet to finish it...  But hand-quilting a full size quilt is rather time consuming operation...

AAAAaaaaaannnnnnnnddddddd!!!!!! Here we go! As promised!  The post that has more pictures than the last post!  Also, includes painted miniatures from Hasslefree Miniatures, as well as Stonehaven and Reaper. Here is a view of all the ones that have been painted so far!  Kinda shows the range of what I've been working on.  I have been having a lot of fun with all of these. Making a Recipe Binder

I know, the whole 'make your own recipe binder' thing has been done like crazy on different blogs all over the internet.  I should know, I've looked a bunch of them up to get different inspirations for this one!  See, I will be moving within a few months (the lease on our current place is up at the end of July, and we will all be parting ways and going in different directions) and I'm trying to think of ways for me to lighten my load, so to speak.  One of them is to get my recipe books and all that together and organized (and paired down...)  One of the things I will slowly be doing over the next month or two is copying down the recipes that I do actually use from various cookbooks so they are all in one spot.  As you can see, I have a lot of cook books.  This actually isn't even all of them.  And, this doesn't include the year subscription I had to Food magazine a few years ago.  Or the magazines I've gotten that are not i...

Lots of upcoming finished paintings, and more

This is a quick update, and a more thorough one will be coming up soon! Sorry its been so long between posts, but I've been getting a lot done.  I no longer have internet at my apartment, in part because it was so expensive where I live, and also because I am planning a move at the end of this month.  Since there hasn't been internet in over two months, me getting on the laptop to do much of anything has been limited to when I am at my sister's house. I've been working of getting as many of my miniatures painted as I can before having to pack them up for the move.  I finally caved and bought a big can of primer, so things have actually gotten done!  Also, better paint brushes and black and white paints have also been acquired.  Woo! All of my dwarves, elves and gnomes have now been primed, just need to finish priming the animals I have, and then priming will be complete!  Pictures will be coming in the next two posts.
